About Us

We are a fifth generation farm in western Washtenaw County. The farm was purchased by our Great Grandfather, Simeon Weber, in 1864. We have approximately 180 acres of both woodlots and farm land. We raise Sheep, Goats, Tamworth pigs, Turkeys ( White. Bourbon Red and Blue Slate) Pekin Ducks, Embden Geese,Broiler Chickens, Laying Hens,Laying Ducks and Rabbits. We currently raise our animals for private sale, store ,restaurant and farmers markets.

Our Practices

We do our best to mimic nature by trying to give the animals an environment that is stress free, healthy and enjoyable both for them and us. Our goats and sheep graze our pastures with their lambs/kids by their sides till they are ready to ween them. Our ducks and geese have room to roam in the electrified netting. Our broilers are protected by their moveable shelters.

Highlights

At this time our pigs are kept up close to the barn so they are not on a pasture but yet we recieve rave reviews about the great taste, color and texture of the pork that I can’t wait till we get them in their pasture padocks and really see what they can do!
